Ashley

In 2017, Ashley’s grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and passed away just three months later. A couple of years later, her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and then colon cancer the year after that. Thankfully they were caught early but watching both of her paternal grandparents go through cancer made Ashley deeply concerned for her father’s health. Inspired to Carry The Fire, Ashley joined The Princess Margaret Foundation in 2022, where she works every day to help move us closer to a world free from the fear of cancer.

Geoff

In 2024, a routine checkup revealed an alarming rise in Geoff’s antigen levels. His doctor referred him to The Princess Margaret, where he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Thanks to early detection, Geoff’s treatment was successful, and today he's feeling strong and full of gratitude. He and his wife Paula – who faced her own cancer journey back in 2002 – proudly support The Princess Margaret, walking and cycling every year to raise funds for cancer research and care.
